The boyfriend of a young woman from Hyderabad's Medchal has reportedly killed her daughter on Thursday. The incident happened around 12:30 PM.

As reported by Eenadu, Anusha had been in an illicit relationship with two men named Ramesh and Karunakar. From what has been reported, Anusha's affair with Ramesh was not to Karunakar's liking.

This afternoon, he went to Anusha's home on the suspicion that Ramesh was spending time with her. When he gatecrashed, a frightened Anusha asked Ramesh to go into hiding in the adjacent room. Karunakar, enraged at this, shouted at Ramesh and asked him to come out of the room. He threatened to slit the throat of Anusha's six-year-old daughter Aadhya if he didn't do so. When Ramesh didn't come out, Karunakar did the unthinkable. The poor child was dead in no time.

The incident reportedly happened at Vihari Homes. Karunakar was known to Anusha through Facebook.

After neighbours alerted the police regarding the murder, they immediately swung into action. By then, Karunakar had inflicted a minor injury on himself by bruising his neck with the knife. He has been taken into custody.
