A woman in Kerala's Trivandrum district was force-fed alcohol and brutally gang-raped by her husband and 4 of his friends. The incident happened on Thursday evening at a house near the beach. The woman who was in an inebriated state was shifted to the hospital while her husband and 4 of his friends have been taken into custody by the Kadinamkulam police.

Reportedly, the husband took the woman and their child to the beach. After spending some time at the beach, the couple went to the husband’s friend’s house. After the husband and his friends consumed liquor, they forcibly fed her alcohol and then gang-raped her. When she regained strength, she took the child and ran out of the house. She stopped a car and requested help from some youths, who dropped her at her home and informed the police. She was later shifted to the hospital.

The hospital authorities said the woman was brutally attacked and that she had several wounds all over her body. As the woman was unable to remember details of the incident as she was in an inebriated state, the Police would record her statement soon after her condition improves.
