Actor Jai has captivated Tamil audience through his versatile filmography and his 'next door boy' looks. His impressive portfolio scans over much loved films like Atlee's 'Raja Rani', Venkat Prabhu's 'Chennai 600028' and of course 'Goa'.

The actor recently took to his Twitter social page to express his gratitude towards one person that gave him a footing in the industry. It is none other than the 'Mersal' star Thalapathy Vijay.

"Thanks a lot for trusting me and giving me a big opportunity to work with you Vijay anna. Without you I'm not here," Jai said.

It is also notable that this day marks 15 years of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bagavathi' since it's release in 2002 in which Jai made his debut.Currently Jai is involved in Venkat Prabhu's fun crime thriller 'Party'.
