With 'Jersey', Nani goes back to 1980s

One of Nani's next films is 'Jersey'. The day its poster was released, it was clear that the entertainer is a sports-based drama. The Natural Star will be seen as Arjun, a cricketer. Incidentally, Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun is making a name for himself around the same time as Nani's character has been named Arjun.
Director Gowtam Tinnanuri has revealed that 'Jersey' will be a period drama. Its story starts in 1986 and comes to a conclusion in 1996. Cricket and 1980s backdrop are things the film has in common with Sagar Chandra's 'Appatlo Okadundevadu' (2016).
Nani realizes his talent well past his sell-by date and that's when he pursues his cricketing dream. That's why the caption 'It's Never Too Late To Dream'.
Produced by Naga Vamsi, the film will be shot from September. It could hit the screens in February 2019.
