'Winner' is the 'supreme' Box Office winner

Imagine a February month release defeating a very good Summer release in terms of the openings! That's just happened with 'Winner'. Released yesterday (Feb 24) on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the film has collected a whopping share of Rs. 6.40 Cr.
The same is clearly the best opening for a Sai Dharam Tej movie till date. In almost every single territory, 'Winner' has mopped up surprisingly better figures than did 'Supreme'. The extended weekend is only expected to work well in its favour.
The figure of Rs. 6.40 Cr share has caught the analysts by surprise because the pre-release hype was not phenomenal. Looks like Tej's BO stamina has now gone up in a big way. It's no mean victory for Gopichand Malineni as well.
