With reports suggesting that Vijay’s ‘Jananayagan’ and Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Parasakthi’ might hit theaters on the same day, speculation is growing about a major box office showdown between the two stars.

Directed by H. Vinoth, Vijay’s ‘Jananayagan’ is progressing at a rapid pace. Touted to be his final film, it is expected to release before the upcoming elections, with Pongal 2025 being the most likely release window.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Parasakthi’, helmed by Sudha Kongara, is also gearing up for a Pongal release, as confirmed by the film’s producer in a recent interview.

If both films indeed release on the same date, this could mark the first and last direct clash between Vijay and Sivakarthikeyan at the box office. However, an official confirmation will only come once the production teams announce their final release dates.
