'Geetha Govindam' is going great at the US box-office.  On Sunday, the rom-com grossed $73,000 as of 8pm CST.  With this, the film's total gross in this Overseas market stands at about $2.1 million.  In the history of Tollywood, this is the 9th best figure, having beaten Fidaa's $2.07 million.  

The question is, will Vijay Deverakonda trump Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi No. 150' tally of $2.4 million?  It will take days for it to reach this figure, if at all.  

Meanwhile in Chennai, the Parasuram-directed movie has become the 4th Tollywood entertainer so far in 2018 to mop up a gross of Rs. 1 Cr in Chennai, the first three being 'Rangasthalam', 'Bharat Ane Nenu' and 'Mahanati'.  

In Kerala, released as a straight Telugu film, the film is in its second week, a first-time feat for a Telugu film.  GA2 Pictures had announced that the entire collections from the state will go into funding flood relief measures.
