His recent choices inspire confidence. "There have been many comedians after Brahmanandam garu. This is a critical phase as far as comedians are concerned. If a comedian is seen as monotonous, he is left out. Every Friday, there is a new comedian in the fray," Kishore recently said.

"I have done close to 150 movies. I have got to work with those heroes whom I whistled for as an ordinary movie-goer," he added.
