Dhruv Vikram's debut movie Varmaa had been the talk of the tinsel town since last week, after director Bala had relieved himself from the project to protect his creative liberty, and the announcement from the producers citing that they were unhappy with the version of the movie they had got delivered from Bala.

Now, the movie which is the official remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy is all set to be made with a fresh cast, barring Dhruv, and with a new director. Speculations are making rounds that the makers might rope in Girisayya, an associate of Sandeep Vanga who had directed the original, to direct Varmaa.

Meanwhile, another speculation is that, the team is planning to cast Banita Sandhu, who had made her debut last year with the critically acclaimed Bollywood movie October, directed by Shoojit Sircar and costarring Varun Dhawan. It is to be seen if the speculations turn out to be true, and Varmaa hits screens in June as said by the producers E4 Entertainment.
