Will 'Vande Mataram' happen? KV answers

It's known that making a period film on India's freedom movement with Megastar Chiranjeevi as the hero is one of the dreams of director Krishna Vamsi. He has often called the dream project 'Vande Mataram'.
Taking to Twitter, the acclaimed director reveals that the film may never happen. Now that Annayya is doing a film on freedom movement, 'Vande Mataram', I don't think, is possible, he notes.
Vamsi might do the film with someone else. It's notable that his 'Rythu' dreams too recently fell apart only because Amitabh Bachchan didn't agree to essay a special role. Balakrishna asked him to drop off the idea altogether since Big B said no.
