Will Vanayudham manage to release in September?

Kannada – Tamil bilingual Vanayudham has been ready from quite sometime now but the makers are unable to release it yet.

The biopic on Veerapan received a stay order from Muthulakshmi, Veerapan's wife, as she feels the film will portray her and her daughter in bad light. Producer AMR Ramesh had expressed to the court that he will show her the film before censoring it so that she can see and give her consent or not.

However, when the team organized a special preview for her on Sunday she didn’t turn up and now the film cannot be censored without her watching it! Albeit, the Kannada version Attahasa has been censored with an UA the Tamil version isn't.

Meanwhile regional dailies are carrying advertisements confirming the film as a September release although it cannot be even censored in Tamil without Muthulakshmi giving her consent to it.

Featuring Kishore and Vijayalakshmi as the main lead, Vanayudham sees Arjun as Vijayakumar.
