Will the wait be worth it?

Success always comes to people who practice for it assiduously.

Villain turned hero Gopichand has perhaps not heard about it.

The manly hero, who has a raw and brutal energy to his performances, announced his arrival as a hero with Yagnam.

The film, with a factionalist theme, was a hit at the box office and Gopichand seemed set for bigger things.

He still is; but the hitch is that he has much longer time than he should have after Yagnam to get his next on to the screen.

Gopichand, after Yagnam's success, was naturally flooded with a plethora of films. Rather than jumping at it all, the young hero said he wanted to be careful and hence would only pick and choose.

It seems he had been extra careful as more than six-seven months have passed since his last release ---in the context of the ever-changing industry it is almost a life-time.

But Gopichand is hopeful that his Andhrudu, which is probably his next, will be worth the wait. Andhrudu is directed by Paruchuri Murali and is set for May release.

MLK Chowdary is producing the film on Keerthi creations while Kalyan Mallik of Aithe and Manasu Mata Vinadu fame is composing the music.
