Superstar Rajinikanth is all set for the grand release of his eagerly awaited film "Vettaiyan", hitting theatres worldwide on October 10. He is currently filming "Coolie" with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Following this, he is expected to reunite with director Nelson Dilipkumar for the much-anticipated "Jailer 2".

In an exciting turn of events, reports suggest that Superstar Rajinikanth will collaborate with acclaimed Malayalam director Jude Anthany Joseph for a new project after completing "Coolie" and "Jailer 2". The film, reportedly backed by Vels Films International, is already generating buzz, and an official announcement is expected soon.

Interestingly, Jude Anthany Joseph was initially in talks with Simbu for a movie under the same banner. However, given the scale of the project, the production house now aims to cast Rajinikanth in the lead. Sources close to the production reveal that Rajinikanth had previously promised to work with Vels Films and this project could be the fulfilment of that commitment.
