Will Smith and the blue blunder!

The special trailer of Guy Ritchie's live action version of Aladdin starring Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Will Smith as Genie was released during the recently held 61st Grammy awards, and fans of Will Smith who had been waiting since December to witness his version of the character made popular with Robin Williams voice, got to see him.
While fans were expecting a cracker of a trailer and rejoiced the look of Will Smith, Twitter wasn't satisfied with the extremely blue look of the actor. There were comparisons with various characters and troll tweets. Scott Fishman wasn't sure if it was Genie from Aladdin or from Avatar, while Kyle Buchanan called it as a spoiler for Birdbox saying that the image would fascinate people to kill themselves.
Ian Hecox wasn't able to believe if it was real or a marketing troll by Disney, and there were comparisons with Smurfs as well. Rebecca Lannucci tweeted that this Genie will give her nightmares, while Jarett Wieselman tweeted "This is not it". These are just a sample of the millions of tweets that trolled and got dissatisfied with Will Smith's Genie, in Aladdin that is slated to release on May 24.
