They say marriages dont last in the film industry and though it may be true there are several examples of a couple staying together for years together as well. Hollywood superstar Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinket Smith met in 1994 and later got married in 1997 and have two children Jaden Smith ('Karate Kid') and Willow Smith.
27-year-old singer August Alsina opened up a few days back that he had an affair with Jada Pinket stating "I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really, deeply loved and have a ton of love for her," He also shared that Will Smith knew about it and permitted him since he had broken up with his wife at that time four and a half years back.
Social media went abuzz with the news and on Friday Will Smith appeared on his wife' television show Red Table Talk and revealed that thery had indeed broken up for a short period at that time.
Will then asked his wife about Alsina's claims to which she replied "From there, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August." When Will pushed on, saying: "an entanglement? A relationship," to which Jada responded: "I was in a lot of pain and I was very broken."
Jada then explained "Through that particular journey, I learned so much about myself and was able to really confront a lot of emotional immaturity, emotional insecurity and I was really able to do some really deep healing, And as I came through and started to realise certain things about you and I, he decided to break all communication with me which was totally understandable."
The power couple of Hollywood then made it clear that all is well with them again when Will said ""I'm gonna get you back first." to which Jada responded "I think you got me back! I think we're good on that.". They then made a high fi and together mouthed the famous 'Bad Boys' movie line "We ride together, we die together. Bad marriage for life."
