Will Shah Rukh replace Aamir?

In news that is sure to have the industry buzzing, Shah Rukh Khan will apparently replace Aamir Khan in the next Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani venture.Reportedly, Aamir was approached by Ritesh with a script on the sets of 3 Idiots but a major disagreement over payment and percentages had Ritesh leaving the sets in a huff.Aamir is currently busy shooting for Rajkumar Hirani movie that also starsR. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoorand Boman Irani.

Sources whisper that Aamir had demanded a whopping amount for doing the movie as well as wanted a hefty share of the percentage. The incident has left everyone wondering about the status of the Farhan-Aamir-Ritesh friendship.Their last successful venture together had been the smash hit Dil Chahta Hai. Farhan and Ritesh had wanted to recreate the magic with Aamir.

Ritesh confirmed that they had been in talks with Aamir but the talks had failed. He admitted that they were on the lookout for another actor but refused to say if it was Shah Rukh. Ritesh insisted that all would be revealed in good time. Aamir on the other hand refused to say anything about the money issue and only said that he refused to work with Ritesh and Farhan because the script wasn't upto his taste. Sources in the Aamir camp insist that the talented actor isn't concerned about the money as much as he is about the script. The same sources also hint that Aamir was offered as much as 40 crores for the movie.
