Though Samantha has been ruling Tollywood as one of the top actresses, she is yet to find a success in Kollywood.

She pinned hopes on 'Anjaan' ('Sikinder' in Telugu) that it would give her the much needed break in Tamil. But it was a dud at the box-office. Now her 'Kaththi' with Vijay is releasing this Diwali. Ace director A.R.Murugadoss helmed this much hyped project.
