While there may be uncertanity around release dates of some of the biggies that are all set to release this year, there is one film which is definitely occupying it's stand loud and clear.

It is Arbaaz Khan directed 'Dabangg 2' which has booked 21st December in advance for months now and is eyeing huge records for itself now.

There are quite a few things going in it's favour. Even though 21st December is a regular non-holiday Friday, Christmas falls on Tuesday which gives the film an advantage of a five day weekend.

Later there is no competition for as many as two weeks to follow which means Salman would enjoy an uninterrupted run for three weeks in succession.

"Expect new records to be created", says an insider, "Just imagine, 'Dabangg 2' is the sequel to a much liked film which means there is ready audience waiting out there. 200 crore is the new target that Salman has now set for his films and it is up to director Arbaaz Khan to execute the plans now."

Expectedly, Arbaaz was non-committed on citing any numbers for his films. He said, "The idea is to make a good film so that it meets gigantic expectations of the audience.

Numbers would anyways follow. That is not my point of concentration."

Guess stakes are only going to get higher by the time film is ready for release.
