RR team is working even during lockdown period and are trying to figure out a way to start the shoot as soon as the lockdown is over and release the movie on the announced date.

But it is not easy for a film of that magnitude to just finish the shoot and release the movie on the date, they have announced previously with precision. Another postponement seems to be unavoidable taking into consideration all options and circumstances.

Allu Arjun delivered a mega blockbuster for 2020 Sankranthi, Ala Vaikuntapurramloo and the movie ended up being Non-Baahubali biggest hit of Telugu Cinema. So, his producers would be thinking about releasing his next film, Pushpa, around the same time in 2021 to use the vacancy created by RRR.

But Sukumar doesn't want to keep a deadline and complete the film, it seems. He wants to give another big hit after Rangasthalam and doesn't want to rush himself or production in any manner it seems.

So, any such plans of releasing Pushpa for Sankranthi 2021, are for now quite far-fetched and unrealistic feels the director and his team, says reports.

Hence, we may not see any big film for Sankranthi 2021 or we may see Prabhas20! Nothing has been finalized yet. Jr. NTR and Ram Charan are trying to keep themselves in shape to be ready for intensive shoot schedules for their RRR, in the direction of SS Rajamouli.
