Will Prateik move on from 'Ekk Deewana Tha'?

After an extremely poor opening over the weekend, only a miracle could have saved 'Ekk Deewana Tha'. However that was not to happen as the film is now off majority of theatres with just a show or two playing in select multiplexes. The film didn't show any signs of pick up during the weekdays after a horrific weekend and resultantly it could accumulate only around 4 crores in it's first week. The pace at which film has seen a decline, it would struggle to reach the 5 crore mark. A huge flop, it has also proven to be a dent on Prateik's dream of turning a solo hero.

What works in favour of the actor is the fact that he is young and hence can play relatively safe by being a part of the multistarrers for the time being. However that too would require a lot of courage for the youngster who, at one point in time, was finding himself flooded with compliments that elevated him to the status of the next big thing.

As for Amy Jackson then well, she has busied herself with her stint down South. However she has been noticed and it won't be a surprise to see her back in action for a Hindi film soon.
