Scenarist Ranjan Pramod, who had worked in few movies including Rendam Bhavam, Meesa Madhavan before, will make his debut as a director through the movie Photographer.
Mohanlal will be playing the hero. The movie based on the Muthanga incident in 2003, will go to floors July 25.
Says Ranjan, 'I am not here to make money. I'm here because I love watching and making films'.
Asked whether writing for a movie is difficult, he says, 'Writing for film was a challenge, because I was given a list of stars and was told to create characters and situations for all of them.'
Photographer would be a different film and sure to please the audience with quality ideas.
