Actresses being brand ambassadors of products is not new. Advertisments featuring Kavya Madhavan are quite popular. The actress endorses a few brands including a leading food brand, Nirapara. The brand has a range of packaged food and each of them has Kavya Madhavan endorsing them.
But the question of whether the brand will land the actress in trouble is now doing the rounds, since Nirapara is facing a ban for low quality and adulterating their products with cheap imitations. Recently Amitab Bachchan landed in trouble because of his endorsement of Maggi which was banned later on. Baby Niveha too had acted in a Nirapara ad.
