Ravi Teja's peculiar twitches have amused one and all. Least did anyone imagine that his films would one day impress no less a genius than Sanjay Leela Bhansali and no less a moghul than Sajid Nadiadwala to remake his films in Hindi by investing their monies. If Bhansali, in association with Ronnie Screwvala, is producing Vikramarkudu as Rowdy Rathore, Sajid has acquired the rights to produce Kick.

Two Bollywood heroes in full form are reprising two remarkably interesting roles of the Mass Maharaja. Akshay Kumar is cast in the remake of Vikramarkudu and he will be seen as Rowdy Rathore in the Hindi version. This one is directed by Prabhu Deva, who gave Salman Khan a monstrous hit in the form of Wanted (remake of the Tamil hit Pokkiri, which was as remake of Pokiri). To be sure, Askhay is also cast in another remake of a Ravi Teja film – a film based on Don Seenu.

On the other hand, Salman Khan is keen on planning the Robinhood in the remake of Kick. To be produced, as stated at the outset, by Sajid, the film will be directed by Shirish Kunder. Kick should have gone on the floors long back but for some issues which Salman and Sajid had reportedly been having for some time. The differences, it is said, are a thing of the past now. Sonakshi Sinha is paired opposite Salman for the first time since Dabbang.

Going by the craze that Ravi Teja's films have acquired in Bollywood, it looks like wannabe remake producers have more reasons to watch Nippu than us audience. Nippu is directed by Gunasekhar, whose Choodalani Undi was remade as Calcutta Mail in the past. Okkadu, at one point of time, was said to be seriously considered by Amitabh Bacchan, but it did not materialize.
