'Aramm', the political drama starring Nayanthara in the main role, is being dubbed in Telugu as 'Kartavyam'. The actress plays the role of a district collector in this flick.

Recently, the makers stated that the Tamil and Telugu versions will be released simultaneously on the same day. Latest, the release date of 'Aramm' has been decided to be Nov 3. (Diwali will be dominated by Vijay's 'Mersal' in Tamil).

However, Nov 3 is quite a busy date in Telugu. 'Next Nuvve', 'Garuda Vega' and 'Angel' have already been confirmed. Given this, will 'Kartavyam' wait or dare?

Producer-distributor R Ravindran of 'Siva Linga' and 'Vikram Vedha' fame owns the film's dubbing rights. Directed by Gopi Nainar, the film has music by Ghibran. Om Prakash is the cinematographer. Vignesh, Ramesh, Sunu Lakshmi, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Ramachandran Durairaj and PV Anand Krishnan are playing other important roles.
