Will Naa Ishtam bail out Genelia?

Genelia D' Souza may be having a gala time in Hindi what with Chance Pe Dance, Force, It's My Life, Hook Ya Crook and, not to forget, Rock the Shadi happening in quick succession. She should, however, be concerned about her career down South, especially in Telugu. Much, over much, has been in the negative for the star for quite some time.

Since Ready, she has not delivered a single hit in Telugu. Krishna Vamsi (Sasirekha Parinayam) and Bhaskar (Orange) failed her at the box office. She has a reason to smile, nevertheless.

It is because Daggubati Rana-starrer Naa Ishtam, directed by Prashanth Potluri, which could bail her out. (On the Tamil front, she has the Velayadhum offering this Diwali).

The chirpy Hasini of Bommarillu is acclaimed for her cute looks, which add a dash of innocent charm to her performance. The question is, will she reinvent herself in the coming years to stay afloat in Telugu?
