Will ‘Manikya’ mesmerize the fans and write new history in the box office? This is Sudeep direction and he appears as peace propagator in the film ‘Maanikya’ a remake of ‘Mirchi’ of Prabhas Telugu film.

A year after the original film the remake in Kannada is appearing with big sound for lavish making, wonderful star cast, and competent technicians at work for ‘Maanikya’. Nearly Rs.20 crore investments, 140 days of shooting, thirty plus well known on screen is opening on Thursday in over 250 screens. It is however a festival for fans of Kichcha Sudeep. After a long gap he is back to direction. The last film he directed was ‘Kempe Gowda’ that was stupendous in box office. Sudeep as director found super success except for his ‘Just Matha Mathalli’ – starting from My Autograph, No.73 Shanthinivasa, Veera Madhakari did well in the box office. In acting he is already ‘Ustaad’ with a stint from 1997.

Kichcha Sudeep is teamed with two heroines Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Ranya in this film that has V Ravichandran in an important role with thirty plus artists.
