Bad luck continues for actor Shaam. The actor, whose debut film 12 B opposite Simran and Jyothika failed to leave any impression, met with the same fate in his subsequent movies Hey! Nee Romba Azhaga Irrukae, Bala and Iyyarkai. His latest Ullam Kekumae More being directed by Jeeva has been in the cans for a long time. The actor now pins all his hopes on his venture, Girivalam. He is confident that this movie will resurrect his career.

Actor Richard, who made his Kadhal Virus directed by Kathir, is also playing an important role in the movie. Interestingly, Richard is actress Shalini Ajith Kumar’s younger brother.

Girivalam will be directed by T Shivaraj. Richard too has reposed faith on Girivalam since his Kadhal Virus failed miserably. Deva is scoring the music for the movie.

Shivaraj had earlier directed Adithadi starring Sathyaraj. The story of the movie, which was about a middle-aged gangster falling in love with a teenage girl, is dealt with in a humorous way and it did click at the box-office. The movie had Nepolean, Raj Kapoor, Abbas and Rathi.

The success of Adithadi has resulted in Sathyaraj being assigned the lead role in half-a-dozen movies including Maha Nadigan, Suyatchai MLA, Azhagesan and movie to be produced by Roja Combines.
