Will Charan follow Pawan Kalyan's tough example?
Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
Last year, Pawan Kalyan established a welcome precedent when 'Agnyaathavaasi' bombed at the box-office. He gave back a large chunk of his remuneration to make good the losses suffered by distributors. Trivikram Srinivas, easily one of the highest-paid directors, did the same. Between them, they gave up Rs 15 Cr. The producer, Radhakrishna, gave up another Rs 5 Cr.
Now that he has profusely said sorry for disappointing everyone with 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama', will Ram Charan follow the example? This is the question many folks are asking on social media.
In his open letter, the Mega Power Star has thanked the distributors and exhibitors for supporting him. As per a few trade reports, just the Telugu States' distributors have lost more than Rs 15 Cr because of the Boyapati Srinu-manufactured disaster. The less said about the Overseas distribution company the better. In the US, the Sankranthi release was a colossal catastrophe.
