Nizamabad parliamentarian and TRS leader K Kavitha has said that only after she became the MP did the cause of Bidi workers come to be highlighted in the Lok Sabha. "Did anyone do it before us? Today, those Bidi workers who possess a PF card are eligible for pensions," she said. "Everyone from old people to destitute women and differently-abled citizens are getting pensions," she added during a rally in her constituency.
"It's only in Telangana that farmers are receiving electricity supply for 24 hours. If this has to prevail in the entire country, TRS should sweep all Lok Sabha seats in the State," Kavitha thundered.
She promised that 2BHK houses will be built in all the villages in the State two years from now. They will be meant for distribution for the poor.
"Madhu Yashki, who was the MP before me, didn't do anything in 10 years. As for the BJP candidate Dharmapuri Aravind, he doesn't respect his own parents," Kavitha claimed.
