Nandamuri Balakrishna is expecting the theatrical arrival of 'Akhanda' later this year. The earliest it can hit the screens is for Diwali. Meanwhile, an interesting statement has been made by an old director. B Gopal, who handed over massive hits to Balayya in the form of 'Samarasimha Reddy' and 'Narasimha Naidu' many years ago, has stated that he has been hunting for the right script for the 'Legend' actor.
The question is, will Balayya ever be ready to work with Gopal in the near future? He has a slew of films lined up. Unless he completes at least two films every year, Gopal's search for the right script may come to an end but he will struggle to get Balayya's dates in the near future.
In July this year, Balayya confirmed four projects. He will be teaming up with directors Gopichand Malineni (to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers) and Anil Ravipudi for two back-to-back projects. Haarika & Hassine Creations, which is owned by producers S Radha Krishna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, has got Balayya's dates. After the project, Balayya will take up either 'Aditya 999' or a project whose subject will be rooted in the Vymaanika-shaastra.
