Will Arya romance Nayantara?

Rumour mongers had it earlier that, Nayantara is no longer involved with Tamil projects and ‘Aadhavan’ may be her last film in Tamil. Now we hear that she has signed up for ‘Electra’, a Tamil movie to be directed by award-winning Malayalam film-maker Shyama Prasad.

Yup, Sources sat that the director has confirmed about Nayantara’s role in the film. ‘Electra’ is based on a Greek play and the script revolves around a character called Alexandra, to be played by Nayantara. In this heroine-dominated script, our macho man Arya has been approached to do the male lead. Though Arya is a Malayalee by birth, this will be his first Malayalam film. The main minus for Arya might be the female-centric story of the film.

Other than ‘Electra’, Nayantara has another Tamil film in her kitty! Reports say that this one is a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Bodyguard’, directed by Siddhique.
