Will Akshay Kumar register his fourth success in 2013? That's the question making rounds of the industry, what with 'Khiladi 786' all set to release.

While 'Housefull 2', 'Rowdy Rathore' and 'OMG Oh My God!' have been roaring successes for Akshay this year, hence making 2012 as a period of turnaround for him, his 'Khiladi 786' is clearly as commercial as it gets.

Says a close associate, "Well, Akshay has always thought commercial and it was just a phase when his films didn't quite cover the kind of distance that everyone expects from him. Anyways, things are more than just fruitful for him this year. He is continuing to bring his films in an unpretentious manner and doesn't have any qualms in admitting that they would be as 'masala' as they get."

So much so that while his 'Khiladi 786' is clearly larger than life, action too is totally over the top, what with a kick making a jeep fly out in air. One wonders whether this is the kind of tone that the action maintains right through the film.

"Well, it’s the kind of 'action’ that makes you be a part of some good fun at the cinema", smiles Akshay, "You can call it over the top, or insane, even incredible if you wish! Action of any kind can be admired in any way you wish; there are a million or more opinions and expectations to please."

"Personally if you think about it, all ‘Khiladi’ films have had action - whether it was real, over the top or unimaginable - that makes you say ‘No Freaking Way’! Of all the films out there, my action films have been stepping stones to so many", he continues.

Now one just looks forward to how this action comedy turns out to be yet another success for Akshay in an action packed 2013.
