In 'Wild Dog', Akkineni Nagarjuna hunts down terror suspects/terrorists like a wild dog and he means business. Just to tell us how trigger-happy he is, the makers today released a video clip in which Nag's Vinay Varma is seen killing the enemies of India in encounters. "I am not ok with that," is his oft-repeated one-liner. He deploys the line whenever he wants to convey that he will terrorize those who want to terrorize Indians.
References to the 1999 incident in which three terrorists were released in exchange for hundreds of passengers whose plane was hijacked in Kandahar are made. Masood Azhar, who was released by the Indian government to save Indian lives, went on to engineer several blasts that rocked India in the 2000s. Mumbai 26/11, India's own 9/11, is a case in point. Ajmal Kasab, who allegedly sought biryani during his incarceration (he didn't, as it later turned out), is also mentioned.
'Wild Dog', directed by Ahishor Solomon, will hit the screens on April 2. Touted to be a true-blue NIA investigation drama, the actioner features no songs. BGM is by Thaman. Action Direction is by David Ismalone, and Shyam Kaushal. Dialogues are by Kiran Kumar. Art Direction is by Murali SV. VFX Supervision is by Yugandhar T.
