In a shocking incident in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district, a woman poured oil on her husband’s face, causing severe burn injuries. As per reports, this incident happened after the woman was angry with her husband returning home late from work regularly.

The accused woman Shivkumari Ahirwar had frequent arguments with her husband Arvind, as Arvind is reportedly a daily wage worker and returned home late daily. The couple had a verbal argument in the night and were stopped by their parents.

However, at around 5 am Shivkumari poured boiling oil on Arvind's face when he was asleep, as said by Arvind’s brother. After hearing Arvind screaming in pain, his parents rushed to his room and took him to Bundelkhand Medical College. Shivkumari has expressed regret over her act and now a case has been registered against her.
