It was on 29 May 2015 that Allari Naresh and Virupa Kantamneni entered into wedlock. The duo has been happily married ever since.

Today, marking six years of togetherness, Virupa took to Twitter and wrote an adorable message celebrating her married life with the 'Sudigaadu' actor. "Today marks 6 years together with the best friend Allari Nares ... 2 of those were spent in full to partial to self-imposed lockdown with a 4year old and 3 dogs. I’d say we got through the rough with only minor bruises - so yay to us! Happy Day boo!" she wrote.

The reference to self-imposed lockdown is interesting. The couple is quite fond of their pets as well.

On the work front, Naresh had a hit in February. 'Naandhi', directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, was a semi-courtroom drama. Also featuring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as a lawyer, it had music by Sricharan Pakala.

In an interview before the release of 'Naandhi', Naresh said that he wants to play both comedic and other kinds of roles. "Vijay Sethupathi plays all sorts of roles. I too want to play negative roles, too," he added. He said that the desire to watch movies on the big screen will always be there no matter how much OTT penetrates.
