His name is Shambhu Lal Sharma. Age is 40. He is fond of two things: liquor and mutton. Working as a labourer in Gujarat, Sharma recently visited his hometown in Bihari's Purnia district.

It was a local festival and the man asked his wife to make mutton. She was getting late for some reason. By now, Sharma became impatient. He got furious and took out his anger on his little daughter as he just couldn't wait to taste the mutton. The poor girl fell unconscious.

Realizing that he bet her too hard, the violent father took the child to a nearby hospital, only to be told by the doctors that the girl was already dead!

Shocked, Sharma fled the place. He absconded from Wednesday evening. The police have since traced him successfully. The killer father has expressed remorse over accidentally consuming his daughter's life.
