A 57-year-old businessman Srinivas Murthy from Karnataka’s Koppal, has won the hearts of netizens, as he has installed a silicone statue of his late wife at his newly-constructed home, in memory of her. Photos from his housewarming ceremony with his wife's wax statue have gone viral.

On August 8, guests who came for the housewarming ceremony at Srinivas Murthy’s residence were stunned seeing a life-like statue of his late wife Madhavi. Srinivas Murthy wanted to do something special for his wife who died three years ago in a car accident. Three years ago, MVK Madhavi met with a fatal accident while travelling to Tirupati with their two daughters.

While Madhavi died, their daughters sustained minor injuries recovered. It was Srinivas Murthy's wife Madhavi's dream to own a bungalow, and hence he decided to construct a house in her memory before two years. He approached an architect named Mahesh Rangannadavaru who suggested that a life-size statue of Madhavi can be installed in the living room of the house, as a memory of Madhavi. Netizens are amazed by this heartwarming story of Srinivas Murthy and his tribute to his wife.
