Why Trisha will never do an item number

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,January 16 2012]

Trisha Krishnan, it has been rumoured, is doing an item number opposite Pawan Kalyan in Gabbar Singh. So she thinks that it is necessary to put the record straight. Not only is she not doing an item number, but also she will never do one in any film. Once you do an item number, there is no going back. You may have to oblige a friend or do it as a favour for a few more films, she reasons.

It may be noted that her contemporaries such as Shriya have not shied away from being item girls in more than one film. On the contrary, Trisha has certain reservations about it. However, she did not think twice before making a brief cameo in films like Bangaram in the past.

Her performance in Bodyguard has become the talk of the town. She has nice words for her co-star Venkatesh. She says that she has always enjoyed being part of his films, because his heroines get to play substantial roles. I think Venkatesh makes for the best bodyguard, she says.

The Telugu version has the best ingredients from all the three versions. She vouches for it and says that the third remake in which she has acted is more true to the original.
