Here's why all film shootings will be cancelled coming Sunday

The Tamil Film Producers Council has announced that there will be no filming in Chennai coming August 19th. TFPC also has released an official statement pertaining to the same with the reason as well.

And that is, the 65th general body meeting of the Nadigar Sangam will be held this coming Sunday. In order to facilitate the easy presence of all actors to the meeting, the council has decided that no shooting will take place in Chennai city alone on Sunday.
