Ever since Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' trailer was released on Sunday evening the biggest surprise to fans is the hidden presence of Suriya in the film. Even as fans and film enthusiasts were busy dissecting the frames, Lokesh Kanagaraj himself confirmed the superstar's involvement in the film thanking him profusely and hinting that why he is doing so will be known after the release.

Kamal in his acceptance speech also thanked Suriya for lending a helping hand at the last minute. Sources close to the Suriya camp have informed us that the hardworking and busy star without a second thought agreed to make the special appearance in 'Vikram'. The reason is he considers Kamal as his mentor and has also made a cameo appearance for a song in 'Manmadhan Anbu'.

Suriya shot two days for 'Vikram' and will appear close to ten minutes in the film and his character will not only surprise fans but also will be an unexpected twist in the screenplay. The film is touted to become one of the biggest multistarrers in Tamil cinema with Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya sharing screenspace.
