There was a time when late Sridevi was not at all keen on letting her daughter Janhvi debut in films. The star kid herself has said this in her latest interview to a top magazine. What is the reason? The legendary actress felt that Janhvi is too naive and thin-skinned for the movie industry.

Even when Janhvi went to Los Angeles to do an acting course, the protective Sridevi was apprehensive. "I am leaving my little flower in sludge," the 'MOM' actress commented before her family members.

Saying that English and History were her favourite subjects in school and college, the sexy Janhvi reveals that her attendance was a ghastly 30 percent. Most of her education happened on film sets, she notes.

'Dhadak', her debut movie, is directed by Shashank Khaitan. Ishaan Khatter, Shahid Kapoor's half-brother, is the film's hero. It will later in the second half of this year.
