Either as a host or more often through his fabulous performance, Shahid Kapoor has always been a prominent part award functions.

But sadly the ace dancer gave a miss to all the dancing offers being made to him for such events. Reason: His very tight work schedules.

Revealed a source close to the actor, "Shahid is a great dancer, which is why every year he is approached by various award organizers.

However this year Shahid refused all the offers he got from the beginning itself. Shahid is very busy shooting and is running on a choco block schedule."

Currently the ‘Chance Pe Dance’ star is shooting back to back for two films - Raj Kumar Santoshi’s ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ (also starring Ileana D’Cruz) and Prabhudheva’s ‘Rambo Rajkumar’ (along with Sonakshi Sinha).

"Shahid has been shooting every single day for the last few months, and he didn't want the rhythm to break. More than performing, Shahid could not extract enough time to rehearse and thus he preferred to take a back seat," added the source.
