Director Mysskin who made his debut with 'Chithiram Pesuthadi' in 2006 after which he attracted a cult fan following with subsequent films such as 'Anjaathey', 'Nandalala', 'Yuddham Sei', 'Onaayum Aatukuttiyum', 'Pisaasu' and 'Psycho'.

On the personal front Mysskin has frankly stated in several interviews that he is separated from his wife for more than a decade and that he is very close to his daughter who lives with her mother. It is now reported that in a televised interview the intense filmmaker has opened up about the real reason for his marital discord.

According to the report Mysskin has explained that he loves filmmaking so much that he is dedicating his full time to it and is married to the craft. Hence he could not concentrate on his family life and that is how he and his wife mutually agreed to go their separate ways.

Mysskin's new movie 'Pisaasu' starring Andrea Jeremiah in the lead with Vijay Sethupathi in a key cameo role is all set to release in theaters soon. He has also announced that his next will feature Vijay Sethupathi in the lead and will be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
