Why Mithoon scores over Pankaj in Anwar music?

Mithoon, the young twenty something music composer is the best news for film music this year apart from Raghav Sachar of course. After the superlative show of brilliance in his maiden venture Bas Ek Pal where one of the songs Tere Bin became humungously popular, Mithoon infinitely impressed with his second outing Anwar.
Both the songs composed by him, Maula Mere and Javeda Zindagi are a direct contrast to his western compositions in Bas Ek Pal. The simplicity with which he has used the light Indian Classical flavour in both the songs is a direct contrast to the ornate classical arrangements of the other composer of the album Pankaj Awasthi. While Maula Mere and Javeda Zindagi are songs that one feels like listening to again and again, Dilbar Mera, Jo Maine Aas Lagayi or Mela (all composed by Pankaj Awasthi) are songs that attempt more to show off the classical leanings of the composer rather than having a soul. Moreover, Pankaj Awasthis morose singing makes most of his numbers unbearable too.
After listening to the album one wishes Mithoon had composed all the songs for Anwar. Hope he is the only composer in his future albums.
