Neha Bhasin, the singer who is known for her rendition of such hits as Janatha Garage's 'Apple Beauty' and 1: Nenokkadine's 'Aww Tuzo Mogh Korta', is in the news for boldly saying things as it is about sexuality.

Ever since the release of the Hindi-language buddy comedy 'Veere Di Wedding', Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has been trolled by many for the masturbation scene.  Neha recently chipped in with her views in her defence of Swara.  "Really why is sex, and self gratification such a hoo ha in 2019. We wouldn't be such pervy country if we stop being hypocrites," the singer said.

She further said, "Swara played a character in a film which you can choose to watch or omit from your list.  Making personal remarks on her and her father or blaming cinema for rapes is not being on the same page. In a country where girls were married at 13 to men double their age, we have deeper issues." 

Known also for her folk songs, in recent months, Neha crooned the song 'Swing Zara' from 'Jai Lava Kusa'.
