'This isn't best or better than any of the cherishing films made by our filmmakers' says Mahesh Bhatt on being asked to express his comments for 'Slumdog Millionaire's feat across the globe, especially with 10 Oscar Nominations.

Wanna listen to what he had to say about this flick?

'Why should we get excited when it's not an Indian Film and even if it wins Oscars, it is off no use to India' says Mr. Mahesh Bhatt, the legend of Indian Film Industry. Adding on to it, he says, 'Slumdog Millionaire' is a British Filmmaker's flick and he has accomplished his dreams roping in India's best personalities to work with.

Earnestly speaking, the versatile filmmaker continued that there were more films where actors like Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan had spelled their best works and yet went unrecognized. Moreover, Oscars hadn't been plainly nominated for Indian Films for superior quality in the category of Foreign Films.

Yup! You're right Mahesh Bhatt; 'Slumdog Millionaire' isn't an Indian Film but a film on Mumbai.
