Why David Dhawan was frustrated over 'Chashme Baddoor'?

It is back to 'Chashme Baddoor' for David Dhawan and Co.
Though the filmmaker had launched a massive campaign to hunt for a new title of this 80s remake, he was put through such a turmoil with the choice of names that came his way that he was left with no other option but to go ahead with something that had stood the test of times.
When the campaign was launched online amongst neti-zens to suggest new titles of the Farooq Sheikh-Deepti Naval starrer, the response was overwhelming.
However it was mainly in terms of quantity and not quality, says a source close to the director, Imagine his frustration on receiving titles that were not as weird as 'Teen Ka Tehelka' and 'Tikdi Tikdam'.
Somehow, today's generation equated the film as a love story between three boys and one girl (which it is not) and hence many such titles were also suggested.
This isn't all as some of the suggested titles were even downright absurd, case in point being '3 But Not Free' and 'Shaitaan Tikdi'. This is when Dhawan said to himself 'enough is enough' and took a final call for 'Chashme Baddoor' to be retained.
Starring Ali Zafar, Siddharth and Divyendu Sharma (of Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame) opposite South star Tapsee, the film also sees David's friend Anupam Kher in a triple. 'Chashme Baddoor' releases all over on 24th August.
