In a sarcastic manner, Tamil Nadu BJP president Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has wondered in why can’t DMK’s working president Stalin and others remain in prison till the Cauvery Management Board (CMB) is formed by the BJP-led Centre.

It may be recalled that Stalin had announced a few days back the DMK’s plan to indulge in ‘jail=bharo’ (filling up prisons) protest by courting arrest in large numbers by6 his party cadres in order to pressurize the Centre to set up CMB at once. He also called for all commercial establishments to shut down ‘totally’ on Thursday (05th April) to show the State’s solidarity in this regard.

Stalin and leaders of DMK’s allies were arrested yesterday and were later let off when they held a protest rally at Valuvar Kottam in Chennai.

In the meantime, taking on Stalin with regard to his ‘jail-bharo’ protest announced by him, Tamilisai has sarcastically suggested to him to ‘remain prison’ till the CMB is formed by the Centre.  “Let him be in prison till such time in the company of like-minded leaders of allies of the DMK,” she said.
