Why can't sadhus quit smoking?: Ramdev

Forget college students, actors and politicians who are unable to quit smoking. It's now time for sadhus to walk the talk and give up the bad habit, feels Baba Ramdev.

At the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh, the yoga exponent said that he would like to urge sadhus to stop smoking. "If Sri Rama and Sri Krishna never smoked, why should we? If we sadhus have renounced everything and everyone, even family members, we can definitely give up smoking," Ramdev said.

"If several youngsters have been dissuaded from smoking, why can't Mahatmas do it?" he asked.

Recently, Ramdev demanded Bharat Ratna for saints such as Vivekananda. "If Mother Teresa can get, why can't Hindu saints?" he asked.
