Voices on social media are asking a question. Why are big Tollywood stars silent on the Telangana Intermediate examination results issue?

So far, only a few medium-range actors (read Nani, Ram Pothineni, etc) have reacted to the spate of suicides. They have urged the students to stop taking their failure in the examination to heart. Not many in Tollywood have asked tough questions of the government.

As for the likes of Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, NTR, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverakonda, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and others, they are not saying anything on the issue, forget condemning the criminal negligence. Chiru is a former parliamentarian and he should have spoken up first.

Folks are drawing comparisons with how Kollywood behaved when one Anitha committed suicide in 2017 over the NEET issue. Vijay extended his deep sympathies and demanded a rollout. Many others from Kollywood expressed their solidarity with Anitha's family.
